Creating a pisture with you and a picture I shot of a world war 2 statue shot which is quite in the same position. I found it funny coz I saw you shot the same day I took mine.
Copyright is difficult on this website, so I never would upload captioned pictures here. If you had soem sort of copyright protection like a watermark or something it might be better. Just a suggestion.
Well, anything I upload with a VIRIN on it is US Government Property, i just get photo credits. All these images can be downloaded from a DOD website at high-res, so if someone really wanted the photos for themselves all they have to do is go to the website and dowlnoad it. If they get caught trying to pass it off as their own work than, well they will just have to answer to the US Government! So im not too worried about someone stealing my work, cause it is government property anyways!
When I was deployed to Malaysia I worked with a civillian who was attached to a unit for the Smithsonian Air and Space magazine. He was an independant photographer who said he didnt upload to sites like this. I asked him why, and he had said that people still will take his imagery and maybe because he was an independant photographer, he was more worried than us, who has the DoD site. I don't know, I'm just passing information I guess.
We love horses, we love drawing, we love gifts, AND we love Christmas. We're gonna combine all that to make Christmas 2009 on dA a seriously awesome one!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
