U.S. Marine Sgt. Vlam, 3rd Battalion 11th Marines Headquarters Battery mans the radios as Marines from 3/11 and 5th Battalion 14th Marines Battelsight Zero's (BZO's) their weapons at the training ranges near Forward Operating Base Camp Leatherneck on June 6th, 2009.
3/11 is reinforced by 5/14 and is deployed to the Helmand Province in support of GIRoA as Part of the US expansion to Afghanistan to conduct counter insurgency operations and train and mentor the Afghan Security Force.
